1. HOW TO ENTER
a. The KSFM Free Gas Friday Contest (the “Contest”) will begin on Friday June 20th, 2008 6:00am Pacific Time (“PT”) and end on July 14, 2008 at 7:20 am PT (the "Contest Period").
b. To participate in the Contest, you may enter via the following method(s): Listen to KSFM each Friday between June 20, 2008 and July 11, 2008 between 6:00 am PT and 11:59 pm PT for the “Free Gas” cue to call, and after the cue to call is aired be the 25th caller to get through to (916) 766-KSFM to win a Daily Prize, pending confirmation of eligibility. The cue to call will run random times throughout the day each Friday during the Contest Period and will be aired eight (8) times each Friday during the Contest Period. At the time of their call, all winning callers will be required to provide their first and last name, complete address including zip code, telephone number, and date of birth.
c. The Station is not responsible for telephone service outages, delays, busy signals, equipment malfunctions and any other technological difficulties that may prevent an individual from completing his/her telephone call.
d. There is no limit to the number of times a listener may attempt to be the 25th caller, however, a listener may only win one (1) Daily Prize during the Contest Period.
2. ELIGIBILITY RESTRICTIONS
a. The Contest is open to all KSFM listeners who are 18 years of age or older and who reside in the Greater Sacramento Area. Employees of KSFM, its licensee, its corporate parents, subsidiaries, and affiliates, its advertising agencies, participating sponsors/promotional partners, other radio stations in the Sacramento metropolitan area and the members of their immediate families and or households are ineligible to participate or win.
b. Listeners are eligible to win a Station contest only once every thirty days and aprizevalued at $600 or more only once every six months . Only one winner per household is permitted in any Contest administered by the Station.
c. All winners must be able to provide valid government issued photograph identification.
3. PRIZES
a. Thirty two (32) Daily Prizes will be awarded. Each Daily Prize is a $50.00 gas card valid for use at Arco Gas Station. The expiration date of each gas card is No expiration on gas card. The gas card cannot be redeemed for cash and has no cash value. It can only be used for the purchase of Arco gasoline at participating Arco Stations and cannot be replaced if lost or stolen. Valued until used or replaced.
b. One (1) Grand Prize will be awarded. The Grand Prize is a $1,025.00 gas card valid for use at Arco Gas Station. No expiration on gas card. The gas card cannot be redeemed for cash and has no cash value. It can only be used for the purchase of Arco gasoline at participating Arco Stations and cannot be replaced if lost or stolen. Valued until used or replaced.
c. All prizes or prize certificates may be picked up at the office of the Station at the address below. The winner will forfeit any prize or prize certificate not claimed within forty-five (45) days of winning. In the event that a prize or prize certificate is mailed to the winner, it will be with the prior written consent of the winner and therefore, winner assumes the risk of its loss. The Station is not responsible for the safe arrival of a prize or prize certificate.
d. There is no substitution, transfer, or cash equivalent for prizes, except that Sponsor may, at its sole discretion, substitute prizes of comparable value or cash. The prizes are expressly limited to the item(s) listed above and do not include taxes, gratuities or any other expenses. Other restrictions may apply.
4. WINNER SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION
a. Decisions of the Station management with respect to the Contest are final.
b. Thirty-two (32) Daily Prize Winners will be selected by being the 25th caller to complete their call after the cue to call is played on-air, as described in section 1 of these official Contest rules.
c. One (1) Grand Prize Winner will be selected in a random drawing on July 14, 2008 at 7:20 am PT of all Daily Prize Winners. The Grand Prize Winner will be notified by telephone at or around 7:20am on July 14, 2008. If grand prize winner cannot be contacted within 10 minutes will be selected in a random drawing of all remaining daily prize winners.
d. Odds of winning a Daily Prize will depend on the number and order of calls received. The odds of a Daily Prize Winner winning the Grand Prize are 1 in 32.
e. Daily Prize Winners must be listening to win, however they do not need to be present to win. The Grand Prize Winner does not need to be listening or present to win.
f. Winners must execute and return any required Affidavit of Eligibility/Release of Liability Prize Acceptance Form within forty-five (45) days of notification attempt or prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner may be chosen by another game of Temptation.
5. CONDITIONS
a. Payments of all federal, state and local taxes are solely the responsibility of the winners. Winners may be required to sign an IRS Form W-9 or the equivalent.
b. By participating in the Contest, the winner or winners agree to have their name, voice, or likeness used in any advertising or broadcasting material relating to this Contest without additional financial or other compensation, and, where legal, to sign a publicity release confirming such consent prior to acceptance of the prize.
c. Prior to awarding any prize or prize certificate, the Station in its sole discretion may require Contest winners (and their travel companions, if any) to sign a liability release, agreeing to hold the Station, its corporate licensee, its parent, subsidiary and affiliated corporations, and the officers, shareholders, directors, employees, agents and representatives of each of them harmless against any and all claims or liability arising directly or indirectly from the prize or participation in the Contest.
d. The Station reserves the right to make changes in the rules of the Contest, including the substitution of a prize or equivalent value, which will become effective upon announcement.
e. Failure to comply with the Contest rules may result in a contestant’s disqualification solely at the discretion of the Station.
f. The Station is not responsible for typographical or other errors in the printing, the offering or the administration of the Contest, or in the announcement of a prize.
g. Copies of the written Contest rules and a list of winners (when complete) are available during regular business hours at the main studio of KSFM 102.5 at 1750 Howe Ave Suite 500, Sacramento CA 95825.
